About Our Staff
Dr. Robin Witmer-Kline, PhD, NCP, BCCP, CCTP, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Psychologist, a Board Certified Clinical Psychotherapist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over 20 years of experience. In addition to her desire to help people one on one, Robin enjoys helping others in the classroom, as she has been an Adjunct Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies Professor for approximately 20 years. She enjoys traveling the world, spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and is happy to be working at her alma mater, Wilson College!
Dr. Matthew R. Shupp, Ed.D, NCC, DCC is happy to join the Wilson College Counseling Center team as a part-time counselor/therapist. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) as well as a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) and is working toward acquiring his licensure in the state of PA. Dr. Shupp utilizes a holistic approach when working with college students in a clinical setting due to each person’s unique, multiple intersecting identities. From this orientation, Dr. Shupp believes that each client is the author of their own lives and, as such, responds to their surroundings based upon their lived experience. He enjoys running, watching movies, and all things Disney.
Megan Cavanaugh, LPC, NCC is the Director of Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Megan received her Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and her Master of Science from Shippensburg University. In addition to her love for counseling and higher education, Megan greatly enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, traveling the world, and anything and everything outdoors. Megan is thrilled to join the Wilson team.
Jenny Cina is a graduate intern for the Wilson College Counseling Center. Jenny will be graduating in May 2018 from Shippensburg University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Outside of class, Jenny is the Vice President for Public Relations for the Graduate Student Association Board at Shippensburg. Other than academics, Jenny also loves hanging out with friends and family and spending time with her dogs and cats.
Olivia Trione is a graduate counseling intern at Wilson College Counseling Center. She is also a graduate student at Shippensburg University’s in the Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and will be graduating in May of 2019. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and golden retrievers Oliver and Gabe. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and DIY projects.
