Evening Care Program Assistant - Childcare Center
Wilson College in Chambersburg is seeking a part-time program assistant for our childcare center. The program assistant will work in our evening care program to provide child care while our Single Parent Scholar students attend evening classes, Monday through Thursday 5:30 to 9:30 P.M. Duties include planning activities, assisting with homework, and interacting with children. It is imperative that there is safe supervision and adherence to all Department of Human Services regulations at all times. Additional detailed job duties will be communicated during the employment interviewing process.
The successful candidate would possess minimum qualifications of a high school diploma and at least two years (2,500 hours) of experience working with children. Written documentation of education and experience and written references, as well as a current health assessment and TB test are required before starting.
