Coordinator On-Line Nursing Programs
Wilson College seeks a collaborative and innovative leader to serve as Coordinator of the Online Nursing Programs. This is a full-time, 12 month administrator-with-faculty-status position. The purpose of this position is to further develop and implement plans for an online nurse practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice program and move the existing LPN-BSN program to an online format. The successful candidate would also provide oversight of online RN-BSN and MSN programs. This would include submission of reports and documentation to the appropriate regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and the State Board(s) of Nursing. Leadership skills are a must, with the responsibility to ensure acceptable learning and program outcomes. Teamwork inside the college, as well as, the ability to engage with members of the community to gain insight about emerging nursing education and workforce needs is required. There must be a distinguished record of excellence in teaching and clinical practice (as required by the Boards of Nursing). The Coordinator reports to the Director of the Nursing Program. Qualifications include a doctoral degree and/or candidates who hold terminal degrees other than in nursing must have a Masters in Nursing. A registered nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania is required, as well as, a minimum of two years of experience in program development and accreditation.
