Assistant Professor of Psychology

Applications are being accepted for a tenure-track Assistant  Professor of Psychology at Wilson College.  A Ph.D. in psychology or related field (ABD candidates may be considered) and teaching experience are required.  Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and teaching/research interests in the biological foundations of behavior.  Typical teaching load is seven courses per academic year and may include courses in general psychology, biopsychology, cognition, learning and memory, evolutionary psychology, and history of psychology. 

Additional responsibilities include mentoring senior theses, advising psychology majors, serving on college committees, and developing and maintaining an active research program that can involve undergraduate students.  The successful candidate will have access to dedicated lab space, a newly renovated and expanded library and learning commons, and will participate in expanding the vision of the department.
