Assistant Director, ASC - Accessibility Services Coordinator
The Assistant Director/Accessibility Services Coordinator is a position in the Academic Support Center where services such as tutoring, writing lab, academic skill refreshers, and disability services are offered. This position will plan and implement disability support, tutor services, and supplemental instruction initiatives, as well as enhance marketing strategies for the center through social media platforms and through the college website. In the absence of the director, this individual will also assume responsibility for all duties of the director.
Qualified applicants are expected to have a master’s degree in counseling, human services, or a related higher education area, have knowledge and proficiency regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Professional work experience in a post-secondary academic success center, tutoring program, teaching or related services such as counseling preferred.
