CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson College softball team faced the Falcons of Cedar Crest College earlier today in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) doubleheader. The Phoenix (20-6-2, 10-0 CSAC) swept the Falcons (14-21, 6-4 CSAC) in both games by scores of 8-0 and 11-1.
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.- The Phoenix baseball team returned to action in the rubber match of a three-game series with the Cyclones of Centenary University. Wilson (16-9, 5-4 CSAC) dropped the final game of the series to the Cyclones (14-16, 5-4 CSAC) by a score of 7-5.
ROSEMONT, Pa.- Wilson College baseball freshman Hunter Cheek (San Antonio, Texas, Smithson Valley) has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Hitter of the Week. Cheek finished the week going 8 for 11 with 3 RBIs in 3 games played, including a home run in a win against Centenary University. Cheek is currently hitting .403 on the season with 31 hits, 15 RBIs and 2 home runs.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson Phoenix baseball returned to action this afternoon in a CSAC battle with the Cyclones of Centenary University. The Phoenix (16-8, 5-3 CSAC) defeated the Cyclones (13-16, 4-4 CSAC) in game one convincingly, 16-2, but fell in game two in a close 10-8 ball game.
BALTIMORE, Md.- The Wilson College softball team looked to continue their winning ways inside of CSAC play, taking on the Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland in a CSAC doubleheader. The Phoenix (18-6-2, 8-0 CSAC) took care of the Gators (7-11, 1-7 CSAC) in both outings, with scores of 8-0 in game one and 15-1 in game two.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson College baseball team was in action earlier this afternoon as they took on the Nittany Lions of Penn State Altoona in a nonconference game. The Phoenix (15-7, 4-2 CSAC) defeated the Lions (19-12, 8-5 AMCC) by a final sore of 11-5.
MORRISTOWN, N.J.- The Wilson College softball team traveled to the College of St. Elizabeth, earlier this afternoon, for a nonconference doubleheader. The Phoenix (16-6-2, 6-0 CSAC) split the series with the Eagles (22-8, 9-1 NEAC) with the first game going to Wilson, 8-1, and the second game going to St. Elizabeth, 9-0.
ROSEMONT, Pa. - Wilson College baseball freshman Hunter Cheek (San Antonio, Texas, Smithson Valley) has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Pitcher of the Week. Cheek fired a complete game shutout of high powered Keystone College in a 1-0 victory. In the game, Cheek tallied career highs with 7 innings pitched and 4 strikeouts while allowing a career low with no walks.
LA PLUME, Pa.- The Phoenix returned to action today facing off against the Giants of Keystone College in the second day of the weekend series. The Phoenix (14-7, 4-2 CSAC) earned a split with the Giants (11-10, 5-1 CSAC) with scores of 5-4 in favor of Keystone and 1-0 in favor of the Phoenix.
ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Wilson College softball team was back in action on Friday with a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) doubleheader at Rosemont College. The Phoenix (15-5-2, 6-0 CSAC) swept the host Ravens (8-20, 1-5 CSAC) by scores of 6-5 (8 innings) and 12-4. Junior Alison Shockey (Greencastle, Pa., Greencastle-Antrim) paced the Phoenix offense with a 3-for-7 effort at the plate with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College men's golf team hosted their annual spring invitational this afternoon at the Chambersburg Country Club. The Phoenix shot a program low 380 as a team to claim first place in the event that also featured the University of Valley Forge and Centenary University. Junior Oliver Perry (London, England, Okanagan Secondary) paced the Phoenix after carding a career low 85. Centenary's Jerome Beyers took home medalist honors after firing a 76.
CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Wilson baseball team returned to action this evening, battling the Defenders of Clarks Summit University in a make-up game from last Friday. The Phoenix (13-5, 3-0 CSAC) defeated the Defenders (2-14, 0-3 CSAC) 11-1 to complete the season sweep of their CSAC counterpart.
GANESVOORT, N.Y.- The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2018-19 men's volleyball end of season awards as voted on by the leagues head coaches. Aaron Hoke (Chambersburg, Pa., Commonwealth Connections Academy) earned all-conference honors for the Phoenix this season.

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Wilson College baseball freshman Kevin Ehrman (York, Pa., Central York) has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Ehrman recorded a career high 7 strikeouts and pitched 6 innings allowing just 3 hits in a 9-0 victory over Clarks Summit. The victory was the first ever CSAC win for the Phoenix. Ehrman is 4-0 on the season and boasts an earned run average of 1.47.

Wilson (12-4-2, 4-0 CSAC) picked up two victories today against the Crusaders (10-6, 4-1) with scores of 10-5 in game one and 12-4 in game two. The Phoenix recorded a total of 29 hits on the day, putting up 15 in game one and 14 in game two.
